Baywatch

Think of nice girls and a lot of sun. That is basically what kept Baywatch running for more than 12 years. The full German title was “Baywatch – Die Rettungsschwimmer von Malibu“. You see, the Germans like some long words.

The last season was shot on Hawaii and therefore renamed to Baywatch Hawaii. Over the years Baywatch became the most watched TV on this planet and even getting David a place in the Guinness book of world records. Baywatch was aired in 144 countries and watched by 1 billion people each week.

Many people argue about the reason, why this show was such a success. My opinion is that David played the character of Mitch Buchannon with such passion other people may argue that there were always a bunch of hot girls with big boobs. Probably the truth lays in between somewhere.
